Grant Low arrived in Columbia County with his brother Renz in 1888 with about five dollars. His diligence was soon rewarded when he bought acreage for no money down and began expanding his holdings in both farmland and livestock. Today, descendants still farm the family grounds and younger generations are in line to keep the legacy going.
