The sun was shining and skies were blue the other day when the Chronicle lens captured Touchet Valley Arts Council volunteer Glen Mendel replacing the lettering on the Liberty Theater marquee. Temperatures in the Touchet Valley have been angling downward as Fall gets underway. The organization's traditional fall musical, which was to be "The Sound of Music," is in a holding pattern for the time being, with producers looking to stage the musical in May, 2022.
