FFA President and a beef exhibitor at the 2019 Columbia County Fair, Tayven Seney, high-school senior son of Byron and Kim Seney, pledged to contribute a portion of his sale-ring revenue to the Friends of the Fairgrounds in appreciation for the improvements the FOTF has made to the facilities. Seney, who was recently named Youth Citizen of the Year, participates in athletics, is also president of the National Honor Society chapter, and volunteers in the community at Kiwanis Club, Lions Club and Booster Club events. He is a three-sport captain and treasurer of the Dayton A.S.B. Seney presented the check at the FOTF's recent meeting to President Julia Mead, left, and Dawn Rodriguez, co-vice president.
