Sarah Shutters, who directed last year's Touchet Valley Arts Council live stage production of "The Sound of Music," has been selected by the Blue Mountain Community Foundation for the Rising Star Youth Award. Shutters, center, received word of the honor during a curtain call at the Liberty Theater from Kol Medina, BMCF CEO and President, at right. Shutters was in costume, filling in for a sick cast member during a Sound of Music performance.
