Benjamin Orozco, convicted last August following a week-long trial, reads a statement during the sentencing hearing January 15 in Columbia County Superior Court. Orozco shot and killed Lance E. Terry on July 7, 1996, then fled, eventually to Mexico, where he lived 20 years before being apprehended in 2016.
