Two free throws by Colton VanBlaricom with 1.8 seconds to play gave Dayton-Waitsburg the insurance it needed in the 54-49 win over Prescott Tuesday-the first win for the combined basketball team after 33 consecutive losses. DW teammates begin the celebration as the game-ending buzzer sounded, rushing to greet Coach Roy Ramirez and the rest of the team.

DAYTON–Dayton Waitsburg snapped a 23-game losing streak with a tense 54-49 win over Prescott here Tuesday, marking the first win for the Dayton-Waitsburg Boys Basketball Program since the two schools fully combined programs.
