DAYTON–This year, the community and visitors are invited to enjoy “Dayton on Tour” which showcases residential and business historic districts here on Saturday October 4.

Traditionally, the Dayton Historical Depot Society has celebrated autumn with an inside view of several local historical homes as part of “Dayton on Tour”. This year, due to COVID-19, the tour will focus instead on two distinct historic residential districts and downtown district.

Visitors will have an opportunity to take a self-guided tour using a map placed in a brochure box located at the front of the Dayton Historic Depot, at their leisure. The maps include historical and architectural facts about many of Dayton’s oldest buildings.

The Dayton Chamber of Commerce has also included a dining brochure to help tour participants choose a take-out option to enjoy in the Dayton Historic Depot courtyard or Caboose Park.
