Community Prayer Walk Saturday

September 24, 2020

DAYTON–People of faith hear this Call; our Nation is in trouble and we need God’s help. Let’s pray that God will turn our entire Nation back to Him.

“Thus, the Lord was moved by Prayer for the Land.” 2 Samuel 24:25.

This Prayer focus is dedicated to Prayer only and focused solely on asking God to heal and protect all people, our community, and our Nation. We give thanks for His daily guidance and the many blessings His so freely gives. It is not a protest or political event and ask participants abstain from bring any signs of any type or support of any candidate or party. Come with open and loving hearts for the benefit of our communities and Nation.

Family, friends, children, anyone may join the prayer march this coming Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 9 a.m. at the Columbia County Court House where prayer is focused on our elected leaders, military and law enforcement.

The group will then move to the Columbia County Library to stand with grateful hearts to pray for Peace in our Nation and the historical knowledge that our very foundation was built in the belief and trust in God.

As we move to our school we will pray for unity, freedom, growth of our families and thankfulness for our educators.

The march continues on to the Columbia County Health System (Dayton General Hospital) to pray for healing of the sick, eradication of COVID-19 and the health and well being of our physicians, nurses and medical staff.

The final stop is at City Hall to pray for our Council, Mayor, Administrators and departments. We will express our deepest appreciation for our firefighters, volunteers, emergency responders and their families.

Please wear a mask and practice social distancing. If you are sick, please do not come. Instead, pray for these things from the comfort of your home.

Amen.
