Publication date changed this week

DAYTON–Twenty-twenty has been an experience the world has shared together, and will certainly be one to remember through all time.

For the Baker family, we have experienced three immediate-family funerals within a three-month period, beginning with our daughter Whitney in August, our favorite Uncle Mike in September, and recently, our beloved sister-in-law, Patty, in October.

We have survived and are learning to live without our loved ones.

Now we turn and face our next challenge: cancer.

Loyal will be undergoing an out-patient surgical procedure and radiation treatment over the next couple of weeks.

The first appointment, naturally, landed on our production day—Tuesday—and that is why your Dayton Chronicle is a couple days early this week.

This appointment wasn’t realized until after last week’s newspaper was off the press and in the mail, so this week has been a scramble to produce (See “Commentary,” page 2).

We appreciate your understanding and consideration over the next few weeks. We promise things will get back to normal sooner than later.
