For a day or so, the Touchet Valley's Green Giant was the "White Giant," after a storm Saturday, November 7, blanketed the region with a couple inches of wet, heavy snow. The Giant overlooks "The Valley of the Jolly Green Giant," from a hillside just west of Dayton, and enjoys the visitors who stop at the roadside pull-out on State Route 12.
