Covid precautions alter attending games

Head Coach Troy Larsen and the Dayton-Waitsburg Wolfpack football team were relegated to football practices inside last week as heavy snowfall over the second weekend of the month blanketed the region with snow. But this group of returning lettermen hope to take DW's gridiron game to foes in this spring's covid football season, which opens Saturday, February 27 in Waitsburg versus Highland. WAITSBURG–Athletics, both football and volleyball, will look different as each sport's season gets underway.

In an abundance of caution due to the virus, WIAA and school districts have implemented precautions to enable athletics to take place.

All attending must wear a mask.
