DAYTON–All classes in the Dayton School District have been canceled for Wednesday, May 12, due to a threat, Superintendent Guy Strot informed the Dayton Chronicle Tuesday evening.

"Someone wrote a threat inside the boys' restroom at the high school," Strot indicated. "Since it happened late in the day, we were unable to involve the Sheriff's Office to investigate and interview students.

"Tomorrow [Wednesday], we hope to learn who it was," Strot said.

Plans are to reopen school for all classes, Elementary, Middle School and High School, on Thursday, May 13.
