Last week, Dayton High School and Middle School students went public with career goals on Chalk Dream Walk, an exercise in bringing focus to student's future ambitions, goals and dreams. Students took to the sidewalks leading to venerable Pietrzycki High last week to boldly and visibly state their career goals, in chalk. The "Chalk Dream Walk" gave the students the chance to demonstrate what their highest aspirations and dreams consist of: "Start a band," "FBI Profiler," "Psychology," and "Personal Finance Officer," to name a few. Heather Clarys headed up the demonstrative activity which covered the walks with colored chalk "dreams." Here, from left: Hudson Reser, Vaughn Walter and Emily Rodrick sketch out their utmost aspirations.
