Wolfpack sophomore Klint Kuykendll (7), an unidentifiable Wolfpack tackler, Monte Pettichord (10) and Rueben Yutzy (71) put the stop on Warden's quick and powerful fullback Caden Wood (18), who posed a considerable threat to the Dayton-Waitsburg defense with size and speed. Wood rushed for 108 yards, including an 83-yard touchdown run and he intercepted a Wolfpack pass and returned it 35 yards for a score. Cyson Morris (13) is moving up to help.
WAITSBURG–The Warden Cougars came to town and went home with a 54-0 win over the Dayton-Waitsburg Wolfpack in a game that started out looking to be a fairly even contest. The game was played here Thursday, September 30.
