Hunter Berg, Theo Anderson and Brayden Mohney Honored at final DW Wolfpack Home Game

Senior Hunter Berg (3) was joined by Sam and Kristie Korslund on the field for Berg's recognition. He plans to attend Clark College in Vancouver, Wash., to train to become a windmill technician. Berg's favorite football memory was being the Wolfpack kicker and he wished to thank the DW fans and coaching staff.

At the final Dayton-Waitsburg Wolfpack Football home game, these three Wolfpack football team members were honored during Senior Night festivities. Senior Hunter Berg (3) was joined by Sam and Kristie Korslund on the field for Berg's recognition. He plans to attend Clark College in Vancouver, Wash., to train to become a windmill technician. Berg's favorite football memory was being the Wolfpack kicker and he wished to thank the DW fans and coaching staff. Senior and team captain Theo Anderson (54) was injured in the River View game and still crutched his way onto the field for recognition. After high school, Anderson plans to attend Eastern Washington University to study Electrical Engineering. His favorite football memory is "being on the football field with my family, and teammates. Win or lose, we all fought together." He thanked his family for "all the support," his teammates for the hours in the weight room and on the field, and "my coaches for believing in me." He was joined on the field by Troy Anderson, grandmother Diana Anderson, Jim Elgin, Phoebe Pettichord, Karlie Pettichord, Larime Pettichord and Monte Pettichord. Senior and team captain Brayden Mohney is planning to attend WWCC to study Fire Science and compete on the Rodeo Team. Mohney says the best game of his career was against Highland last spring: a 40-yard touchdown, two interceptions and 10 tackles. The thanked his "Mom for being my biggest supporter in everything that I do; my Dad for encouraging me to do better and always looking out for me; my friends, coaches and teachers for pushing me to do my best, with the end goal being to have fun and make memories. And lastly, my community for giving me the best childhood I could ask for and shaping me into who I am today." He was joined on the field by mother Becky White and father Colter Mohney.
