Pastor's Corner

He sees all we do

March 3, 2022

“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with very much.” Luke16:10

The soldier picked up the piece of trash on the mess hall floor and threw it in the wastebasket. Noticing, a few high-ranking officers called him over to their table and told him that he had the kind of attitude that leads to promotion. The simple act of throwing away trash alerted the higher ups of his character as he was targeted for promotion, which he soon received.

The Lord sees all we do. Nothing escapes his notice. He takes into account our thoughtfulness toward Him in matters that some would call “insignificant” or “of no consequence”. Yet if those “small” matters are important to the Lord, they couldn’t be any bigger!

Instead of demanding great challenges that would show us as heroes, we have multiple opportunities each day to love the Lord in practical and common ways that only He notices.

“Whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him” Col. 3:17.

May God richly bless your faith in His Son Jesus Christ!
