Hundreds of visitors pound Main Street for 28th All Wheels Weekend

Moderate temperatures and a rain shower put the "cool" in the 2022 All Wheels Weekend as hundreds of motor-oriented wheel enthusiasts converged on Dayton's Main Street for the 28th Annual Car Show. Front and center, a sparkling line up of painstakingly restored cars attract lookers along East Main Street by Moose Creek Café and Bakery and the Liberty Theater. Below right, this extensively tricked-out 1978 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, brought to All Wheels Weekend by Cornelio and Irene of Pasco, held surprise after surprise in the owners' meticulous and creative attention to detail. Below center, Andy and Jill Ketzenberg from Ellensburg were showing off the original giant rocking chair that was a prop in the 1973 car-cult-classic, American Graffiti. DAYTON–Come one, come all and come they did to the Dayton Chamber of Commerce's 28th Annual All Wheels Weekend, soaking up the sights and sounds of hundreds of expertly maintained cars, vans, trucks and even a Pullman rail road car.
"It was another successful All Wheels Weekend," said Chamber Executive Director Belinda Larsen. "The rain didn't seem to put a damper on the crowd.
