Roger Allen Harting

September 19, 1965–September 6, 2022

Roger Allen Harting, 56, passed away on September 6, 2022, at his home in Reardan, Wash.

He was born on September 19, 1965, to Robert and Lawana (Walker) Harting on Whidbey Island in Washington. He attended schools in Dayton, Wash., graduating from Dayton High School where he was very involved in 4-H and FFA.

Following high school, he had a long career working in and managing agricultural operations, including the Palouse, Walla Walla and Columbia Basin areas.

Roger met Lisa Anne Lloyd in Spokane and they were married on December 9, 2011. Roger enjoyed fishing trips to Alaska with his friends, hunting and mushrooming at the family cabin in the Blue Mountains, gardening at his home in Reardan, and having dinner and watching movies with his wife, Lisa. He really enjoyed boating, fishing, huckleberry picking, and kicking back at the cabin on Priest Lake. He was always willing to help jump in on a project for his children.


Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lawana Harting and by a brother, Jeff Harting.

He is survived by his wife Lisa, at their home in Reardan; his children, Kjelsey (Dallas) White and Kaare (Ashley) Anderson; two grandchildren and a third on the way. He is also survived by his brother, Mark (Kristi) Harting with nieces Emily and Meghan; his aunt Lorraine Bramhall and cousins, Char (Mike) Cambell and Christine (John) Delp; along with various other family members.

A celebration of life will be held for Roger at the Dayton Elementary multipurpose room on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 10 a.m. He will be laid to rest in the Dayton Cemetery.


In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be made to the glioblastoma foundation. Corbeill Funeral Homes in Dayton is caring for the family.
