Retiring Assessor Honored with Reception

Retired Columbia County Assessor Chris Mills was presented this beautiful Pendleton Woolen Mills blanket from the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation, by Jerry Middel, in recognition for Mills's assistance with a number of the CTUIR's interaction with the office. Mills was honored with a retirement reception at the Columbia County Courthouse Thursday, September 29, attended by about 35 well-wishers who stopped to extend congratulations and thanks for her 31 years of service as County Assessor.
