POMEROY––The Wolfpack Wrestling Team of Kason Fortune, 170-lb. senior, and Koyen Fortune, a 170-lb. freshman, finished third and fifth, respectively at the Pomeroy Christmas Tourney Dec. 17. The team scored 7 points and finished tenth. Kittitas won with 95.5 points with Pomeroy finishing fifth with 32 points. The team is coached by Carlos Norris.

Kason wrestled brother Koyen in the first round, winning by fall at 2:30. In the second round, Kason was pinned by Fabian Garduno of White Swan at 1:39. Koyen lost by fall at :14.

The third round showed Koyen pinning Garduno of White Swan at :16, and Kason being pinned by Simon Jones of Kittitas, at 2:09.

Round 4 was better for Kason, who dropped Carson Kubik, Lind-Ritzville, at :34. In the fifth round, Koyen lost by technical fall, 15-0, to Jones of Kittitas.
