John Oren Johnston

October 13, 1939–October 3, 2024

"Fish Johnny," as he was known by many, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 3, 2024. He had been at Whitman Place in Walla Walla following a major stroke in August of 2023.

A Dayton, Wash., resident for well over 50 years, Johnny was known for his faith, his love of steelhead fishing, and providing and praying for others in need....
