Public Works employee Jeff McCowen, bystander Marc Hodges, Fire District No. 3 EMT Bob Albee and County Transfer Station employee John Lewison helped lift Kathy R. Dupont of Dayton from the Transfer Station pit following a tragic incident that fatally injured Dupont Thursday, June 9. Three District 3 personnel, Firefighter Willie Tate, Chief Jeromy Phinney and EMT-Firefighter Josh Pettyjohn placed Dupont in the basket for extrication from the pit to the ambulance.
