Three Dayton senior volleyball players were honored at Senior Night last Thursday, left to right, Wyntr McCauley, Elsie Mann and Grace Trump. McCauley was joined by her parents and family, and her favorite memory is being part of rebuilding the Bulldog sports program. She has been accepted at MSU and her goal is a degree in psychology, a master's degree in nursing and a Ph.D. in nursing, specializing in psychiatry and mental health. She thanked her coaches for making her senior season enjoyable, her grandmother for her unconditional love and Mrs. Richards for guiding her passion for volleyball. Mann's fondest memory was watching the team's growth since the season began, and being part of rebuilding Lady Bulldog volleyball. She intends to finish her private pilot's license, earn a bachelor's degree in aviation and eventually fly for an airline. Mann especially thanked her mom and dad for their support in all her school and summer-camp activities. Trump will cherish remembering "girl dinner" after games and conversations while driving teammates home from practice, and team dinners. She intends to be an elementary teacher and was especially grateful for family, friends, teachers and teammates for their unwavering support. At right are Head Coach Des Jones and Asst. Coach Tamira Culley.
