Dayton High School Cheer and Girls' Basketball honored Senior members of their respective squads, and their families, during pre-game ceremonies Feb. 2. From left, Cheer Squad's Wynter McCauley and Laney Crow were recognized, as well as Lady Bulldog Basketball's Grace Trump and Kameryn Tupling. McCauley's favorite memory was stunting as a flyer last year and designing crazy hair bows. She plans to attend Montana State University and her goal is to become a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She thanked her grandmother for support, her coach "for everything" and Sam for being the best A.D. Crow was joined by her family and she loved becoming a cheer captain and helping teammates improve. Her educational goal is to attend WWCC and become an ultrasound technician. She thanked Coach Brianna Coller and her mother. Trump was joined on the floor by her family and happily remembers the time Cayle Davis started a rap battle on a bus ride. She plans to attend the University of Idaho and become a teacher. Bulldog coaches, especially John Donnelly, were crucial and appreciated, Trump said, as well as her parents' support. Tupling's family were with her on the floor as her best memory was sister Marissa banking in a half-court buzzer beater. Her goal is to attend a four-year university to earn a BS in Nursing. She thanked her mother for supporting her, sister Marissa for her calm demeanor and Coach Jorie for pushing her and never giving up on the team.
