Senior Band Member Dea Wanlarbkam, and Senior Basketball Team Members Cayle Davis and Nolan Korslund were recognized prior to their final home basketball game last weekend. Wanlarbkam was joined by members of his family and he recalls a band field trip to Silverwood Music Fest and winning second place. His future educational goal is to attend WWCC and study Music Engineering prior to transferring to a four-year school to earn his Bachelor's degree. He especially thanked his parents and family for believing in him and his favorite teachers Miss Porter, Mrs. Korslund, Miss Frankie and Mrs. Gillick for their support. Davis finished his senior basketball season with his family grouped around him. His favorite memory was roasting and rapping on bus rides. Davis intends to finish his apprenticeship certificate at WWCC, and is thankful for the support of Tamira Culley, Des Jones and John Donnelly for teaching him to play basketball, and for Coach Clayton Strong's support since Fourth Grade. Korslund and his family were on the floor for Senior Night, and the most vivid memory of his was Cayle Davis breaking his nose. His goal is to attend WWCC then transfer to Eastern Washington University to earn a teaching degree. He especially thanked all his coaches and his parents for pushing him to excel and fulfill his potential.
