Knowles to lead Columbia REA board

WALLA WALLA–Columbia REA announces the results of its 2020 Board of Directors election. The newly elected Board members are Greg Knowles (District 1), Vic Parks (District 2) and Neil Carpenter (District 3). For the second year in a row, a record-high number of votes were cast by Columbia REA members, who chose from a total of six candidates vying for the three positions.
“At this time in our history…with what is happening locally and around the world…we are truly blessed with a Board that really cares about the people who live here,” said Columbia REA CEO Scott Peters. “Because our Board is made up of members who are invested in this area, the Cooperative will continue to be proactive and resilient and do what is best for the members and for the communities we serve.”
The Board Officer positions will remain unchanged for 2020. The Board officers are: President: Greg Knowles; VP Neil Carpenter; Secretary/Treasurer: Doug Logan.
Columbia REA’s 2020 Board of Directors is: Knowles, Carpenter, Logan, and Patrick Dennis, Jay DeWitt, Dennis Munden, Vic Parks, Glen Shipley and Katie Woolridge.
