Frustrated?

July 9, 2020

DAYTON–One of the most frustrating things about the anarchy of late has been the questionable behavior of elected officials, especially those in the People’s Republic of Seattle and its satellite in the governor’s office.

Those morons who took over Capitol Hill in protest displayed the height of hypocrisy. They declared the six-block area an autonomous zone because they didn’t like racism and police brutality. Those leftists no doubt were against the NYPD’s “stop and frisk” policy, yet they essentially stopped and vetted everyone wanting to come into their little fiefdom.

They wielded spray cans, marking private property with graffiti, and cheered to see statues come down around the United States. Meanwhile, in Seattle, a statue of Lenin, a leader to whom some 3 million deaths are attributed, is unmolested.

If a black person was injured, one of their demands was that he or she be treated by a black doctor. That’s segregation, and isn’t the abolition of segregation something Civil Rights marchers in the 1960s fought for and is now the law of the land?

Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan finally ordered the area dismantled, and the police back into the zone to begin enforcing laws after a couple teens were hit by gunfire, a 16-year-old fatally stricken. Remember, they were protesting police brutality in a self-policed area. So what happened?

Oops! Another hypocrisy of this foolish mob movement.

It seems that the shootings and the death, together with a surly mob approaching Durkan’s residential neighborhood finally tipped the balance toward sanity.

And again, the hypocrisy. Durkan was all supportive of these anarchists until it reached her driveway.

Same with Olympia Mayor Cheryl Selby, who publicly supported all of this anarchy until the protestors tagged her home in Olympia.

The old saw “depends on whose ox is getting gored” comes to mind.

Are you frustrated at the events happening in our state?

Here’s where to complain:

Governor Jay Inslee

Office of the Governor

P.O. Box 40002

Olympia, WA 98504-0002

Send him a note over his website: https://www.governor.wa.gov/contact/contact/send-gov-inslee-e-message.

We’re also free to tell Mayor Durkan what we think of her handling of the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone: Her email address is [email protected], or mail her at 600 4th Ave., Seattle WA 98104.

Let them know what you think.

I think they’ve disrespected the people of our state, whether or not we live in Seattle.

One good thing: voters can make Jay Inslee a lame duck on August 4. Be sure to cast your ballot.
