Publication day changed for Election Edition

October 29, 2020

DAYTON–Next week, the November 5 edition of the Dayton Chronicle–Election 2020–will come out a day later than usual to allow Election Night information to be included in the issue dated November 5, 2020.

Look for Election Week’s edition at vendor locations around Dayton or in your post office box the afternoon of Thursday, November 5. Regular delivery will be on Friday, November 6.

Besides the complication of election coverage, press scheduling prompted this change.

The same schedule will be in place the following week due to Veterans Day, November 11, being on the Chronicle’s usual mailing day. Due to federal office, including the local Post Office, being closed, the Chronicle will be unable to be delivered on its usual timetable and is postponing mailing until Thursday, November 12.

Local boxes and news vendors will have the edition Thursday afternoon; regular mail recipients may expect to receive it with mail delivery on Friday, November 13.

The following week, the Chronicle will return to its usual Thursday publication.
