Two and two is five

These are indeed interesting times.

Liberty in the United States is under threat and it is because the communication channels are held in too few hands. Those who control the news media have manipulated public opinion and swayed voters.

It’s Google, FaceBook, Twitter, Apple, and the alphabet soup of national news organizations–once highly esteemed–which now in control the message that the majority of Americans hear. Google owns YouTube, so if you want to see and hear Donald Trump’s speech on January 6, good luck.

Last week, following the incursion into the U.S. Capitol, Twitter, Facebook, etc. canceled Donald Trump’s access to their platforms.

So much for freedom of speech. They didn’t like what he was saying, so they cut him off.

Saying anything you want, one of the unique characteristics of the United States’ Constitution, now depends on Mark Zuckerberg’s approval, if you want to say it on Facebook. If you joined Parler, a free-speech alternative to Zuckerberg’s Facebook, that’s been disabled when Apple quit making its app available, and Amazon canceled Parler’s access to its servers. They had mushroomed to over 14 million subscribers in the wake of Facebook’s “Community Standards” policies.

Watching the upstart news channel, NewsMax, on YouTube, we’ve noticed that certain portions of the program snap, the speaker cut off in mid word, as Google edits out what they don’t want you to hear. And, just as blatantly, while watching a segment, if there’s a video clip being played, YouTube covers it with an unflattering photo of Trump…you hear the audio, just don’t get to see the pictures.

This is why Joseph Biden was able to mount a winning campaign from his basement in Delaware. He didn’t need to campaign, the national media had his back. Also, no worries about son Hunter, whose role in the Biden Money Machine is under investigation. Except you’ll never see nor hear a report on the nightly news. Nothing to see here, folks. Move along.

And their power is formidable. Immediately after the incursion into the Capitol, nearly all of the lawmakers flipped and the electoral college was ratified, bada bing, bada boom. Dozens of senators and representatives darted for cover rather than face the now vicious anti-Trump activities going on in Washington, D.C.

Hold it! Not so fast. Is it possible that it wasn’t Trump supporters creating the mayhem? Couldn’t be, since the national media wasn’t reporting the possibility.

No one is questioning whether ANTIFA radicals infiltrated the Trump supporters in the rally. Pfshshshfft, they wouldn’t do that!

You won’t hear a peep from ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN or any of those so-called news organizations. They don’t even ask the question, or dig in and do the investigation themselves.

The message being trumpeted is that Trump incited a riot, which led to five deaths, evacuation of the House and Senate chambers, and destruction in the Capitol.

Unheard of! Unacceptible! Shout the Democrat governors, mayors, city councils and liberal news media, who twiddled their thumbs while Seattle went crazy last summer, Minneapolis-St. Paul melted down, Portland protests went on for 100 days, and Kenosha, Wisc., burned.

Those are facts, but they’re not the complete story. And until the overwhelming influence and power of the tech giants is brought under control by antitrust laws, and someone in an influential position in the national news steps up and counts, we’re in for a significant change here in America.
