A Quiet Place Part II was directed by John Krasinski who also wrote the screenplay.

Following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family (Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe) must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.

Rotten Tomatoes gives this film a 91% "fresh" or favorable rating, and the audience reviewers rate it as 93% favorable. Many on-line critics give this horror film high marks and note that they think it is, or is nearly, as good as the original part one film. It is rated PG-13 for terror, violence and bloody/disturbing images. Runtime is 97 minutes.

Movie screenings are July 2-4, and 6, on Fri. and Sat. at 7:30 p.m., Sunday at 3 p.m., and Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.


Masks that cover your nose and mouth are still required in the Liberty Theater, except when guests are eating or drinking while in their seats.
