Family Fall Festival set at Blue Mountain Station

September 23, 2021

DAYTON—A Fall Family Festival will be held at Blue Mountain Station in Dayton on Saturday, October 9, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“What we’ve called Oktoberfest in the past is now called the Fall Family Festival. While Oktoberfest and its fun features will still be a part of the event, this year we’re including more activities for kids,” says Jennie Dickinson, Executive Director of the Port of Columbia.

The event features:

• Oktoberfest food—brats, German salads, apple strudel and more provided by the BMS Co-op Market. Mama Moncelli’s will have candy, espressos, lattes, gluten-free pastries, caramel apples and more. And Maj1c Cookies will offer gluten-free, paleo, vegan, sugar-free and just regular cookies too.

• Live music with Gary Winston and the Real Deal from 12–3 p.m.

• Beer garden.

• Local vendors and Friends of the Library book sale.

• Activities for kids, including a pumpkin patch, pumpkin painting, free mini pumpkins, a straw bale pyramid, cupcake walk, lawn games and a selfie center.

• Tasting rooms. Bard & Bee Meadery, Red Band Cellars and Cedar Rain Spirits will be open.

During the day, several drawings will be held with giveaways to the winners.

Admission is free.
