Dale White, owner and chief plumber with White Plumbing, was honored by the community for his decades of top-quality service recently. White is known for reliability and quality workmanship in the community, always willing and able to handle any plumbing problem. Gordon Gerlitz, left, presented White with a keepsake book.

DAYTON–Long time plumber Dale White was recently recognized for his years of dedication and service to the Dayton community.

He was presented a certificate of appreciation from the City of Dayton and Columbia County, signed by Mayor Zac Weatherford and County Commissioners Charles Amerein, Ryan Rundell and Marty Hall, respectively.

He also received letters of appreciation from his longtime clients.

A familiar theme emerged from the comments: "Twenty-four/seven, Dale would do what was needed to fix your plumbing issue." "He is an angel sent from heaven to help us here on earth." "He is kind, generous, thoughtful and honest." "Many people mentioned what a pleasure it has been to know Dale."

Gordon Gerlitz and Vicki Zoller spearheaded this event.
