Take & Makes crafts

Take and Makes. Every Tuesday and Friday the Library is giving away "Take and Makes," small, holiday-themed craft projects that are fun for all ages. Tuesday's kits are designed for kids and Friday's kits are a bit more challenging. Funding for Take and Make crafts are provided through the generous support of the Friends of the Dayton Memorial Library.

Looking for good books for the bookworms on your Christmas list? The Friends of the Dayton Memorial Library have just restocked their book shelf in the Delany building. Items found there include hardback and large paperback books, CDs, DVDs, and audiobooks, and small paperbacks on the bottom two shelves. This helps support CCRLD's programs such as Take and Makes, and the ever-popular Summer Reading Program. Just come on in through the library during normal business hours to access and browse these gently-used titles.

Smile, Shop, and Support Your Library

Shopping for the holidays on Amazon? Want to support your library at the same time? The Friends of the Dayton Memorial Library have set up an Amazon Smile charitable account and link. When you use the link above and make purchases, Amazon will donate 0.5% of the purchase price to the Friends. These funds will go to supporting library programs such as our take-and-make crafts, Summer Reading Program, and much, much more. The more you spend, the more you will help the library.

We appreciate your support and happy holidays!
