Time to be Counted: Let Chamber know your choices

April 7, 2022

DAYTON–As community activities and events move more and more back to normal, time-honored annual events are linking arms with the rest of the community again.

So it is for the Dayton Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Awards Banquet, which will nevertheless be held, albeit somewhat differently than in the past, says Chamber Executive Director Belinda Larson.

Awards Ceremony will be held Wednesday, April 20, at Chicken Bill’s at the Touchet Valley Golf Course in the indoor/outdoor seating area. Attendance will be restricted to award winners plus one, and, if a business, a representative of that business.

Nominations are now open in six categories: Citizen of the Year, Youth Citizen of the Year, Employee of the Year, Business of the Year, Nonprofit of the Year and Start-Up of the Year (in business less than three years).

The deadline for submitting nominations will be 5 p.m. April 15. Nomination forms are available from the Chamber of Commerce or are on the website http://www.historicdayton.com.
