The 26-year-old Blue Mountain Rocketeers recently voted to dissolve and, according to its charter, distributed its remaining assets to another youth-oriented group. Local 4-H leader Jeff Jenkins, left, accepted $3,200 from Rocketeer leader Tim Quigg, right, the proceeds to benefit the 4-H Marksmanship Club. Many 4-H clubs have been in hiatus due to pandemic restrictions, the Marksmanship Club included, Jenkins said, but activities are expected to resume soon. "This will go to good use," Jenkins said, pointing out that ammunition prices have doubled and program restrictions require purchase of only factory ammunition. The small-bore club includes air rifle, .22 rimfire and shot guns. Blue Mountain Rocketeers held its final launch in October, 2021.
