Wolfpack baseball drops double header to Jaguars

PASCO–The cats bested the dogs in a Wolfpack versus Jaguar double headers here April 26.

TriCities Prep made quick work of the Dayton-Waitsburg nine, finishing the first game with a 15-0, three-inning outing, then a 15-1 score in the five-inning nightcap.

The still winless Wolfpack traveled to Warden May 3 (results next week), and will complete the River View game from April 21 that ended due to darkness in a 5-5 tie today, Thursday, May 5. They host Columbia-Burbank Saturday in the season finale.

The Jaguars played errorless defense, pounded 12 hits and chalked up 11 runs in the second inning in the first game, which ended 15-0 after three innings.

Balian Walter and Dylan Bledsoe rapped DW's sole hits.

Bledsoe and Klint Kuykendall pitched for the Wolfpack, Kuykendall taking over in the second inning.

In the second game, TriCities Prep was again tight on defense with zero errors and prolific at the plate with 15 hits and runs.

Hitting for Dayton-Waitsburg were Kuykendall and Jasper Morrow. Morrow scored DW's sole run in the afternoon.
