Wolfpack golfers miss the cutoff for state

Theo Anderson, a Dayton-Waitsburg senior member of the golf team, tees off at Cle Elum's scenic Cascadia golf course. Anderson led the team with a 114 score, however, DW golfers were not able to win a state berth.

CLE ELUM–Dayton-Waitsburg's Wolfpack golf team forged through difficult conditions at the EWAC 2B golf district match but unfortunately didn't play well enough to advance to the state tournament in Deer Park.

"We had some bright spots today under some difficult conditions," said Head Coach Mike McGhan. "Unfortunately the kids didn't make enough clutch shots to advance to the state tournament....
