Celebrating 150 years

DAYTON–The Community Bible Church will host its 150-year celebration at 203 S. 2nd St., on Saturday, July 16 at 1-8 p.m.

The Community Bible Church was founded in Dayton 150 years ago. To commemorate this momentous occasion, the church is hosting a day of celebration on Saturday, July 16, from 1-8 p.m. with live music, games for children (and adults, if they wish to jump in), sack races, and a Pig Roast beginning at 6 p.m. The celebration concludes with young adult events featuring spike ball, corn hole, and the like at 8 p.m.

A special time of worship commemorating these 15 decades of faithful ministry and service to Dayton and the Touchet Valley will be held beginning at 9:30 a.m., Sunday morning, July 17, Following the service, celebrators can enjoy an old-fashioned Pie Social around 11a.m. The public is invited to attend, in part or in its entirety, this very special occasion.
