Jungle Book live at Liberty

July 28, 2022

Registration of children for the Missoula Children’s Theater continues Friday, July 29. Then local children will rehearse for five days (Aug. 1-5) to perform The Jungle Book on August 5 and 6 at 7 pm. The storyline is: Ever been abandoned in the jungle, adopted by wolves, taught by a bear, befriended by a panther and chased by a tiger?

In the musical adaptation of The Jungle Book, Mowgli the man-cub has all these adventures and more. Join him as he escapes from the Monkey-people, outwits a tiger, enlists the help of a rock-python, explores what it means to be human and learns a lesson from the brave mongoose Rikki-Tikki-Tavi.

Original music and rollicking humor give new life to the classic tale by Rudyard Kipling.

“Elvis” will run a second week. Seat buffering between groups has been eliminated, but online seat selection is still available. However, the incidence and spread of BA.5 variant of COVID is high, so we highly recommend that you wear face masks in the theater.
