WALLA WALLA– Northwest Farm Credit Services has named Walla Walla County Fire District #8 Board of Fire Commissioners as the recipient of a $50,000.00 award.

Northwest Farm Credit Services donated for a side-by-side 4x4 ATV emergency medical/fire response vehicle.

This vehicle will be equipped with snow tracks for winter access.

It will also be used for with Wildland firefighting equipment to access areas that regular emergency vehicles cannot. The Award will also fund some Personal Protective Equipment for its volunteer firefighters.

Bob Clendaniel, Chief of District 8 extended his and the District’s appreciation to Lori Stonecipher and Stonecipher Farms for assistance and support of this award.

The rural fire district serves the center of Walla Walla County.
