September 4, 2003–March 6, 2022

Joshua “Josh” Thomas Harris, age 18, of Harrisburg, Ore., a beloved son, brother, family member, and friend, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2022.

Josh was born to Sue (Leseman) Harris and Tom Harris, Jr. in Springfield, Ore., on September 4, 2003. In 2005, they settled in Harrisburg, Ore., where Josh grew up and attended school.

He was naturally athletic and excelled at any sport he tried, including basketball and football. His sense of humor and likable personality made him a friend to anyone he met. Josh was well known in the community for being a ham. No matter where he was, he had fun and did whatever he could to make the people around him laugh.

Josh will be sorely missed and is survived by his parents, Sue and Tom Harris; his older brother, Zach; his paternal grandfather, Thomas Harris Sr. and his wife Virginia (Creswell, Ore.); and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jeri and Ray Mollenhauer (Wenatchee, Wash.), and Byrl Leseman (Wenatchee, Wash.); and his paternal grandmother, Virginia (“Ginger”) Harris (Oakridge, Ore.).

A memorial service was held at the Harrisburg High School gymnasium in Harrisburg, Ore., Saturday, March 12, 2022. Josh will be laid to rest in Dayton, Wash., next to his Grammy and Gramps, Jeri and Ray, on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 11 a.m.
