Tanker rolls over on Willow Creek Grade

A Helicopter Transport Services, Inc. of Aurora, Ore., semi-tractor tanker left Highway 12 on its way up Willow Creek Grade, coming to rest with the trailer on its side. Driver Harold E. Hinkley, 80, of Reno, Nev., was uninjured in the 8:59 a.m. incident north of Dayton, according to the Columbia County Sheriff's Office report. The CCSO report did not indicate a cause for the accident.
