DAYTON–The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) is accepting candy donations through October 25, for their annual Halloween celebration on Monday, October 31 at 3:30-5:30 p.m.

Each year, the CCSO, Columbia County Fire District No. 3 along with the downtown businesses and organizations open their doors to trick-or-treaters on Halloween afternoon. Last year the Sheriff’s office handed out 350 bags of goodies to the kids during their annual event.

Candy donations can be dropped off at the front desk of the Sheriff’s Office located at 341 E. Main St, No. 1.
