Golf Course Irrigation Project receives grant from Pacific Power

Columbia County was awarded $3,500 from the Pacific Power Foundation for the Touchet Valley Golf Course Irrigation Project recently. County Commissioner Marty Hall presented the check to Sean Thurston, project chairman of the Touchet Valley Golf & Rec's Irrigation Renovation Project at the Touchet Valley Golf Course. Volunteers have been putting in uncounted hours to implement the irrigation system, which includes a one-acre irrigation pond.
