Jr./Sr. Ski trip planned

December 15, 2022

DAYTON–The Jr./Sr Associated Student Bodies (ASB) have planned a ski trip to Bluewood for the Jr./Sr High students on January 19 and 20, 2023.

The ASBs worked together to pull together a trip to Dayton's local ski resort-Bluewood in January for middle and high school students. The two groups communicated with Ski Bluewood setting up free equipment rentals, lessons, and lift tickets, then got it all approved by the school administration.

Departure for the middle school will be at 8:15 a.m. on January 19, and will return at 3 p.m. the same day. High School student will leave at 8:15 a.m. on January 20 and will return the same day at 3 p.m. This trip will be free which includes; free rentals, free lessons, and a free lift ticket. Students will need to provide their own lunch. The Bluewood ski trip is also known as the "Rewards Ski Trip." Each Jr./Sr. High student must have a 2.0 GPA or higher and no referrals in order to go to Bluewood. The ski trip both motivates students to do well in school and kicks off with the second semester.

Dayton-Waitsburg (DW) Wolfpack High School Basketball has a Boys Varsity game against Naselle at the Dayton High School gym on December 20 at 3 p.m.

Come show your support for our High School Basketball Varsity Boys and wear your Ugly Christmas Sweaters to bring in some holiday spirit!
