Kiwanis Club sponsors local Law Enforcement Appreciation Day event

The Dayton Kiwanis Club sponsored Law Enforcement Appreciation Day last Monday with an event held Monday morning at Moose Creek Café and Bakery, where, naturally, doughnuts were compliments of the local service club to community members dropping in to visit with Sheriff Joe Helm, deputies and other members of the Sheriff's Office staff. Schoolchildren from Dayton Elementary School trekked to the Law Enforcement Appreciation Day last Monday at Moose Creek Café and Bakery, and had the chance to meet and talk with Sheriff Joe Helm.
