CGI donates new product line to food banks

Columbia Grain International (CGI) representative Ted Lowe, Central Ferry Manager, presented the Community Food Bank of Dayton with its new product line of Beans and Pulses. CGI will extend donations to Washington, Idaho, Montana, and North Dakota pantries and food banks. Pictured from left is Lowe, Terri Hessler, Dianne McKinley, and two out-of-town volunteers from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Hermiston Stake, missionaries Peni and Dennis Waite, here to serve this community for 18-months ending in September 2023.

DAYTON–Columbia Grain International (CGI) has donated 15 cases of its Balanced Bushel Line of Beans and Pulses to Food Banks and Senior Centers in Columbia, Garfield and Whitman Counties. Using CGI in-kind contribution to Feed the Children, the donation includes 10,000 bags of assorted Balanced Bushel varieties to be distributed to hungry families and communities throughout Washington, Idaho, Montana and North Dakota.

Columbia Grain Int'l has recently expanded into Consumer Priced Goods (CPG) with its new healthy bean and pulses line. QR codes are on each bag for use with smart phones will lead to recipes for the different commodities.

Through donations to its local communities' food pantries and senior centers, and by partnering with Feed the Children, CGI furthers its mission to Cultivate Growth and nourish the world.
