Wolfpack third in league heading into final weekend

Dayton-Waitsburg parlayed its transition game into a 54-42 win over the Pomeroy Pirates here last week, taking a ten-point lead in the first quarter on a number of nearly uncontested layups, like this one by Ryland Kilts (4), with Pomeroy Jett Slusser (20) and Ollie Severs (12) also pictured.

DAYTON–After soaring ahead on unanswered transition baskets, the DW Wolfpack boys survived a couple come-back attempts and wrested a 54-42 non-league win away from the Pomeroy Pirates January 17.

DW is 3-3 in league, 7-5 overall with the final regular-season weekend coming up which will shake out the final league standings. Friday the Wolfpack roams to River View, Saturday they journey to Col...
