Cheer Team honored at Sports Awards Night

Dayton-Waitsburg Cheer Squad cheerleaders were honored at the Fall Sports Banquet. Presented awards, letters and scholar-athlete honors were Beatrix Karl, Alyssa Hollingsworth, Cedar Stegall and Chasity Paddock. Not pictured: Mattilyn Carter.
WAITSBURG–Dayton-Waitsburg Wolfpack Cheer Squad members were also honored at the Awards Banquet here January 9.
DW cheerleader Advisor Vickie Hamann made the presentations, and awarded Cedar Stegall as the Most Valuable Teammate, Beatrix Karl as Most Inspirational and Alyssa Hollingsworth as Most Improved. All three awards were via a vote by cheer squad members.
Coach's Award for Dedication went to Chasity Paddock, Hamann announced, and Coach's Award for School Spirit was presented to Mattilynn Carter.
Stegall, Karl, Hollingsworth, Paddock and Carter all received a varsity letter. Scholar-athlete recognition went to Stegall, Karl, Hollingsworth and Paddock.
