Dayton-Waitsburg Wolfpack's senior guard Monte Pettichord gave everything he had to help his team and school to a 2B State Basketball Second-Round win, here laying out to put up a shot in action from the 53-35 loss to Lind-Ritzville-Sprague-Washtucna-Harrington Broncos. Pettichord scored a team-high 16 points, snared seven rebounds, and stole three from the Broncs.
CHENEY–The Dayton-Waitsburg Wolfpack Boys Basketball squad played well enough to win, but crucial three pointers and in-the-paint buckets just didn't fall DW's way as the Lind-Ritzville-Sprague-Washtucna-Harrington Broncos stayed alive in the 2B State Basketball Tournament with a 53-35 win here Saturday, February 25, and the Wolfpack finished its season with a 13-8 record.
